At Cerrado Essence, we comply with the Australian Consumer Law while aiming to be clear and fair with our customers.

Change of Mind

We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, including but not limited to:

  • Choosing the wrong item
  • Deciding you no longer want the product
  • Incorrect size or style selection

Please choose carefully before placing your order.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if the product has a major fault.

If you believe your item is faulty or arrived damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at: cerradoessence@gmail.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the fault

Each request will be carefully reviewed. If the item is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer one of the following remedies, as required by law:

  • A replacement
  • A refund
  • Store credit

The chosen remedy will depend on the nature of the fault.

Conditions for Approved Returns

Where a return is approved:

  • The item must be unused and in original condition
  • Original packaging must be included

Return shipping costs for faulty items will be covered by us. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Earrings & Hygiene

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned, unless they are deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges Policy

We do not offer exchanges for change of mind.

Exchanges may only be considered if:

  • The item is faulty
  • You contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • The item is unused and in original condition

All exchange requests are subject to assessment.

Jewellery Care

Our jewellery is crafted using natural materials, including Golden Grass, making each piece unique.

To care for your jewellery:

  • Avoid contact with water, perfumes, creams, and chemicals
  • Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising
  • Store pieces in a dry place, away from direct sunlight
  • Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth

Due to the natural characteristics of Golden Grass:

  • Variations in colour, texture, and shape may occur
  • These natural variations are not considered faults

Damage caused by improper care or normal wear and tear is not covered under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
